Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Appify handles information in CupTune.

Information and purposes

CupTune works without an Appify account. People profiles or nicknames, coffee packages, optional package photos, equipment, recipes, brew sessions, scale samples, taste feedback, favorites, adjustments, preferences, and export choices are stored in the app's local device area. Optional package text recognition runs on the device. Supported Bluetooth scale and optional local Home Assistant connections are initiated by the user. CupTune sends a limited event vocabulary to a dedicated Aptabase app with app ID, platform, environment, app version, and a random per-install event identifier used for milestone deduplication. Its dedicated Sentry project receives scrubbed crash diagnostics with no default PII, replay, screenshots, view hierarchy, tracing, profiling, authorization headers, or free-form user data. Adapty processes store product, purchase, restore, and entitlement state; CupTune does not store management credentials, receipts, or purchase tokens in source control.

Third-party services

• Apple platform services: iOS distribution, in-app purchases, restore, notifications, camera access, Bluetooth access, local storage, and user-directed sharing.
• Google platform services: Android distribution, Google Play Billing, on-device ML Kit text recognition, notifications, camera access, Bluetooth access, local storage, and user-directed sharing.
• Aptabase: A small anonymous product-event lane used for app opens, activation milestones, onboarding, primary brewing actions, paywall views, and completed purchases.
• Sentry: Scrubbed crash and critical error diagnostics in a dedicated CupTune project, with tracing, replay, screenshots, profiling, and default PII disabled.
• Adapty: Loading store products and coordinating verified purchase, entitlement, and restore state for CupTune Premium.
• Open Food Facts: Optional lookup of public coffee package information after a user scans or enters a barcode.
• Firebase Hosting: Hosting this landing page, privacy policy, contact page, terms page, app-ads.txt, and related static discovery files; it does not store CupTune brewing profiles.

Retention

CupTune's local data remains on the device until the user changes it, removes the app, or the operating system clears the app's storage. Photos or exports copied to another destination remain under that destination's controls. Aptabase, Sentry, Adapty, Apple, and Google retain provider-side records according to the applicable account configuration and provider policy. Production advertising is disabled by default and no AdMob SDK is active in the current configuration.

Deletion and choices

Removing CupTune removes its local application container subject to operating-system and backup behavior. Files, messages, or other copies previously exported outside CupTune must be deleted from their destination separately. Purchase history remains controlled by Apple or Google so a legitimate lifetime entitlement can be restored. Privacy and provider-side deletion requests can be sent to genceloguzhan@gmail.com.

Children

CupTune is designed for coffee brewing and is not directed to children. The current analytics and crash adapters do not use advertising identifiers or send names, emails, package photos, or free-form brewing text. Production advertising remains disabled until age treatment, consent behavior, and store disclosures are approved.
