Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Appify handles information in Sinüs: Polen & Hava Kalitesi.

Information and purposes

Sinus Index works without an Appify account. Location access is optional and is used to request environmental forecasts for an approximate area; a manually selected place can be used instead. Weather data is supplied by Apple WeatherKit. Pollen and air-quality data can be routed through the Sinus Index Cloudflare Worker to a configured regional provider, which receives only the approximate coordinates and forecast parameters needed for the request. Personal symptom journal entries, preferences, cached forecasts, notification settings, and optional Apple Home or Home Assistant indoor readings are stored locally on the device. Apple Home access is mediated by HomeKit, and Home Assistant access is user-configured. Sinus Index sends a limited allowlist of product events to Aptabase without location, symptom content, free text, advertising identifiers, or purchase receipts. Its dedicated Sentry project receives scrubbed crash and critical-error diagnostics with default PII, replay, screenshots, view hierarchy, tracing, and profiling disabled. Adapty processes App Store product, purchase, restore, and entitlement state; payments are handled by Apple.

Third-party services

Retention

Personal journal entries, preferences, notification settings, and cached app data remain on the device until the user changes them, removes the app, or the operating system clears the app container. The Cloudflare Worker may keep environmental forecast responses in regional cache for their configured freshness period and retains refresh-request records for up to five days. One-time App Attest challenge records may be kept for up to 48 hours, and a successfully verified App Attest key record may be kept for up to 90 days since its last successful verification. A Keychain installation identifier, first-use marker, and optional Home Assistant token can survive ordinary app removal because iOS manages Keychain separately. Aptabase, Sentry, Adapty, Apple, Cloudflare, and any active environmental data provider retain provider-side records according to their account configuration and privacy policies.

Deletion and choices

Journal entries, preferences, saved places, notifications, and cached data can be removed through the app where controls are available or by removing the app. Disconnect Home Assistant in the app to remove its saved connection; Keychain items can survive an ordinary uninstall and can be cleared after reinstalling and resetting the connection, or through a privacy request to genceloguzhan@gmail.com. Data or automations created in Apple Home or Home Assistant remain under those systems' controls. Apple transaction history remains controlled by Apple so a valid subscription can be restored. Requests concerning provider-side diagnostic, analytics, or account-linked records can be sent to genceloguzhan@gmail.com.

Children

Sinus Index supports personal environmental awareness and is not designed or marketed as a child-directed service. Users should not enter another person's private health information without the appropriate authority. The current analytics and crash-reporting adapters do not use advertising identifiers or send location, journal entries, symptom text, or free-form text.
